5 Signs That Your Baby is Hungry or Full
How’s your baby radar? Babies tend to send clear signals when they are hungry and especially when they are full. It’s their way of communicating their unique dietary needs. Needless to say, there’s no need to finish the bowl if your baby’s letting you know that he is full.
Here are some common cues to discern hunger and satiety.
When your baby is hungry he:
- Opens his mouth as the spoon approaches
- Tries to reach for the spoon with his hand
- Leans toward the spoon
- May cry or fuss
When your baby is full he:
- Turns away from the spoon
- Closes his mouth when the spoon approaches
- Spits out the food
- Pushes your hand away
